To People Who read this blog,
I have been suffering frequent bouts of what we call writers block, hence this month only one post worth reading has been uploaded.
Its a funny thing , writers block, u can have it any time of the year, at any weather, and u dont even need microbes to generate it. Its generated by laziness and ennui towards the QWERTY or just lack of topics thats tickles your brains, that would lead the intellectual juices flow.
Any time you just dont feel like writing you blame it on Writers Block...you will give excuses, such as the words are not just coming out right....but actually what you are really suffering from is a tremendous lackadaisical approach towards things you should be other wise committed towards.
See what i mean.. i dont even know where i am going with this post and how utterly non sensical it might be, but this is the only way i think i can get over the block..
Apart from the Writers block i am also suffering from bouts of Selective Amnesia.. its again some thing you would like to not suffer from, but at times very helpful.. as it allows you to forget what you dont want to remember, its as simple as that.. but some times it leads you to trouble when u realise u have forgotten that you did not want to remember at certain time.. but riight now, you could have done with.
Few days back i met a person, i recognised her straight away, what her name was, where she from, what she does.. blah blah.. but where selective Amnesia hurt me was i forgot she was my Batch mate...
But other wise Selective Amnesia, can be a very important blessing..
you can forget your Mom in laws birthday, your girlfriends dogs name.. or even your wifes birthday for that matter, just convince your wife or your Girlfriend u suffer from Amnesia of a very special kind.. and rare in nature ( may be not after this post).. she would empathize the fact forgot. But trust me you should not forget your anniversary..history says you should always learn from your mistakes...yes you can forget to get her the gift.. or to take her out for the dinner..
This by far is the most non nonsensical post i ever have written.. tomorrow i might select to forget it .. but this was to get over my writers block you see

This is not a nonsesnse blog. In fact it makes a lot of sense. I am going throuigh the writers block right now. Its happening not coz of lack of interest per se but a lack of interest cvaused by the "means" to reach an "end". The end is a PhD and creatib\ng knowledge the means is leaving all thats close to me.
Though I disageree with you in one respect. Your girlfreind will not empathize with you if you forget her birthday and mention is coz of a special type of rare amnesia. She wont sympathize even if she has caused it. So beware my friend.

well ask your boudi if i could pass the "oops i forgot your birthday because of selective amnesia" test......i m damn sure she'd advise you to get wed.

and wot exactly is in ur mind when u correlate anniversary with a mistake???..and like the previous two comments, i too wholly agree with the "birthday" & "amnesia" part..do it with someone & see what happens...!!!
the thing is tact.. before forgetting it self, convince the person u suffer from the ailment ..then once u know she is convinced.. start forgetting in your convenience ..
as much as u convince her..forgetting birthday is an unpardonable offense..& stop underestimating our capacity of seeing thru such lame excuses..

Wow wat a fite!!!! Is tito watching this....No mattet how much sm1 (esp a lady) gets convinced that you have an aliment forgetting a birthday will always unpardonable. Why only birthdays, Cholocate days, friendship days all these things that are made to make card compenies richer and human beings poorer.
Thats why i Say all men should suffer from selective amnesia.. if some bode has seen the Movie 50 first dates.. i wish i could be the male version of Drew Barrymore... wake up and forget ehat happened the last day.. and the girl lying next to me is my girlfriend..( NO I DONT DO THAT DADA..if u are thinking)
If you become a male version of Drew Barrymore in 50 first date remember my friend a girl wil never be a male version of Adam Sandler. A guy can have that kinda luck if and only if he is a gay!
all u men are the same!!!..of course we are not so silly as to crib abt some1 not remembering chocolate days & stuff..but yes, birthday is important..and avi, wot gave u the idea that a girl cant be as sympathetic as Sandler???..u guys never ever appreciate our positive traits..such an ungrateful species..hmph!

Kasturi.. u have replied your answer.. why no girl can be Adam sandler .. as to you guys.. remembering your birthday is important.but for guys its not.. and if i seriously had the ailment still girls would expect me to remember her birthday.. as u said.. hence.. Where drew barrymore use to forget Adam sandler totally.. still he cared.. but u will be alll grumpy if some one for got your birthday.. hence u cant be adam sandler

zix - you must admit you are a bit of a chauvinist when comes to the gender bias. i think thats because someone sometime back had triggered it - now let me guess who forgot your birthday.......hmmmmm.......???
Tito calls Zico a Chauvinist. U had some wonderful adjectives for women particularly in school. Remember???
@KAsturi...Remembering birthdays are not imp. If sm1 4gets my b'day I am ok coz to be very honest my I dont remember mine and one days its just gone. But I must admit if sm1 wished me I feel good. but iof sm1 forgets its ok.
i think selective amnesia is muy greatest art....NOT AN EXCUSE....

what the heck...bdays and chocs...???!!!get it out of all your heads that the female species hyperventilate boc of the lack of selective amnesia ESPECIALLY on bdays and anniversaries...( or is it just me??)
take tht rite back.....
as for writers block...
ive renamed it writers REBOOT as there is just massive processing taking place...in quantitative and qualitative terms.
and of course,.... when the mental indigestion passes....the quill shall beckon.
and till the paper seems inviting enough...rove.
