Pushing Bengal Big

Enough is enough, its time i once wear my economist cap on, as for those who know me, i am but all a trained Economist.
Prof Rodestien Roden once spoke of his Big Push theory. A theory that had touched my soul, as one of the few ecomomic theory that was practical.
The idea was simple, a low developed country, put in a Basic manufacturing Industry.. and it will lead the economy through various Back ward forward linkages.

Even my loved , closest near and dear once, will think a zillion times to peg me as a communist. But today on their 30th anniversary I defend them for lack of better choice.

I hear today singur as a farce to the face of Bengal, and the communist government has done nothing to take Bengal to India.
But Dudes, Singur is the gift of the communists to bengal, tomorrow we will be the ones saying we have the TATA car factory to lead from the front.
Prof Roden once said, you establish a basic factory such as steel or automobile.. what you require is labour.. and raw material in case of car auto- comps, so what happens next auto comps set plants.. means more labour..
Auto comps means steel and aluminum.. hence ,ore industries.. and impetus to already dying industries of bengal
For once media housdes, should not report for politicians and report as economist, i hope the IIMCs have taught you guys the basics of that.
Nandi gram and singur are different stories
and tomorrow the media will hail singur for the engine of economic growth of India, rest to say bengal

And yes Left front , thios is my tribute to you..for ruling Bengal for 30 years
come next elections ill vbote for thee, as in Bengal ill never have a choice of not voting for you, the oppostion you have with 30 seats in the assembly is everything but a choice..
But that does not mean you guys are the best.

But you are secular, and i respect you withoput liking you
congrats
